• 护理教育者和研究员提供临床和理论指导，促进护士和助产士的专业发展，进行护理实践研究。NURSE EDUCATORS AND RESEARCHERS provide clinical and theoretical education to and promote professional development of nurses and midwives, and conduct research into nursing practice.

• 研究、规划、发展和实施护理课程 researching, planning, developing and implementing nursing curricula
• 推进全科和专科护士的实践经历 facilitating practical experience for general and specialist nurses
• 评估当前持续变化的教育需求，监督课程开展情况 evaluating ongoing and changing educational needs and monitoring course outcomes
• 参与制定和实施影响护理、护士教育和健康的政策 participating in developing and implementing policies affecting nursing, nurse education and health
• 实施和促进护理学以及跨学科的研究项目，传播研究信息 undertaking and promoting nursing and interdisciplinary research projects, and disseminating research information
• 将当前研究结果应用到临床护理实践和病人管理上 promoting utilisation of current research findings into clinical nursing practice and patient management
• 促进安全、质量和风险管理的研究和研究成果的实施 promoting the implementation of research and research findings into organisation-wide functions such as safety, quality and risk management
• 为其他护士的研究提供支持和指导 providing support and education for other nurses undertaking research
